Silvaco publishes software for designing and simulating integrated circuits. The internship lasted three months, in 2022, at the Montbonnot site.
The subject: netlist reduction, netlists being text descriptions of a circuit component by component, and the simulations that check a reduced circuit still behaves like the original. The work sat inside the publisher’s pre-release test framework, with its Python and XML tooling.
It is the one place in this path where the circuit was silicon.
