Lessons from 2011, a complete stop in secondary school, and a return in 2024, the day the family piano arrived in the flat.

Piano started in 2011, two years after the first compositions, with eight years of lessons. They stopped in high school, for lack of time. There is not much to tell from those years: the instrument was no longer in the room, so it was no longer used.
It came back in 2024, literally: the family piano arrived in the flat. Picking it up again took no particular discipline, which is the useful observation on this page. An instrument sitting where you live is not really practised, it is played in passing, almost every day.
That return also shifted the way of writing: composition now happens at the keyboard rather than on paper. The two gestures do not give the same thing. On paper you write what you had planned; at the keyboard you keep what you found.
