Three building blocks. A scanner that crawls a site and produces a remediation report graded by category: consent, documents, cookies, technical. An embeddable cookie banner, written in plain JavaScript inside a Shadow DOM so that it can neither break the host page nor be broken by it. A generator for privacy policies and legal notices.
The scanner deliberately does without a headless browser: a considered trade-off between cost, latency and reliability, rather than a shortcut.
Behind the product: a registered sole proprietorship, European hosting, row-level data isolation in the database, and a launch in July 2026.
A narrower variant exists alongside, under the name RGPD Express: a one-off audit delivered as a PDF, with no account or subscription, aimed at freelancers and agencies who want to hand the report to their own client. The scanner and the scoring are the same; what changes is the format: a one-off report rather than ongoing monitoring.
It is the project that taught what, in a service, is not code: writing terms of use, meeting legal obligations, answering the people who use it.
